Student Visas - I20 Form (M-1)

M1 Visa/I20

California Computer Schools, Inc. is approved to provide a student visa (M-1) to eligible persons that wish to attend one of our Vocational Training programs. This program is for citizens from countries outside the U.S.  We can help you realize your dream of an education at CCS!

You will need to show that you have sufficient financial resources (scholarships, loans, grants, subsidies, family or personal resources) available to pay your school and living expenses. For some students this may seem an insurmountable task. Do not be discouraged, though, because there are ways to overcome this hurdle. It is possible, for example, to have a guarantor – someone who will vouch for (guarantee) your ability to pay your way through school. Sources of financial aid may also be available to help you. There are ways for determined students to see their way through school.

If you are accepted, CCS will send you USCIS Form I-20 M-N/ID (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (M-1) Student Status - For Vocational Students). If you require a visa, then you should take the USCIS Form I-20 to the nearest U.S. consulate to obtain a student visa. Only bring the USCIS Form I-20 from the school you plan on attending for visa processing at the U.S. consulate. You must also prove to the consulate that you have the financial resources required for your education and stay in the United States. Please see the State Department Website for more information on visa processing.
